Raymond Peters

Natural Resources Support Specialist

Raymond has worked for WWF for the past 20 years.  During this time, he has honed his skills in the introduction and implementation of wildlife monitoring systems in communal conservancies and national parks. Raymond was instrumental in the development and establishment of the game counts within communal conservancies and some national parks in Namibia. Raymond also has experience in collaborating and working with community members, the Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism, and various NACSO NGO partners. Raymond has a bachelor’s degree in Natural Resource Management from the Polytechnic of Namibia.  Currently, Raymond is exploring the use of new technology for the monitoring of wildlife within communal conservancies.
