Saara Mbili-Yetu Niitenge
Safeguards, M&E, and Compliance Manager
Saara comes to WWF Namibia with over 7 years experience in donor-funded environmental projects, economic research, investment promotion and data analysis. She started her career as a project intern at the Hanns Seidel Foundation under the Environmental Awareness and Climate Change project. Subsequently, she served as an economist in the Ministry of Environment Forestry and Tourism’s ResMob Project and later as a statistician at the Namibia Statistics Agency where she championed the implement of the United Nations’ Framework for the Development of Environment Statistics.
She leads and manages the Risk, Compliance, Environmental and Social Safeguard (ESSF) and Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) functions of projects and programs executed by WWF Namibia.
