Dr. Erdwin Muradzikwa, a veterinarian with 29 years of experience, has transitioned into a wildlife conservationist. As the WWF Dreamfund Wildlife Corridors Project Coordinator, he is pivotal in developing and implementing multifaceted, research-driven initiatives to protect essential ecological corridors within the KAZA TFCA. This approach capitalizes on supporting households to mitigate human-wildlife conflict and engage in sustainable agro-eco-entrepreneurship, effectively incentivizing them to safeguard wildlife corridors.
Before his tenure with WWF, Dr. Muradzikwa lectured at the University of Namibia, worked as a veterinarian for the Community-Based Rangeland and Livestock Development Project under the Millenium Challenge Account, and was a state veterinarian in various regions of Namibia. His comprehensive experience and steadfast dedication to conservation are crucial in advancing the objectives of securing bio corridors and promoting harmonius coexistence between humans and wildlife in the KAZA TFCA.
